Nice, what do you think of it? I need something longer and I'm trying to decide what to get. I've heard the old 75-300s are good.

I'm just a rookie so I don't really need anything more. I got it to take pictures at my daughters soccer games and I haven't been disappointed. I don't know where in Canada you are, but if you have a Henry's camera store i'd go in and have a chat with them. I have 2 bodies and keep it on one of them at all times, so i obviously like it.

Yeah, I'm just picky. And cheap. I like to keep the option of using film open, so lens distortion is a little more significant than with digital too.
